Here are some close-ups of a number of leaves in their Autumn colours.
This Japanese azalea produces bright, crimson flowers in the Spring. These leaves are an added, colourful bonus.
The sunlight is streaming through the leaves of this maple.
Not all leaves need to have bright red in them to make an attractive show as this variety of alder shows.
This holly has been bred for its variegated, evergreen leaves rather than for its berries. Even so, it brightens up a corner of the garden, all year round.
