There can be few Scots who have not read the publications printed by the Dundee-based company D C Thomson. From the "Dandy" and "Beano" comics to Sunday Post > (where a recommendation for a remedy by the "Family Doc" can empty the shelves in the chemist shops by lunchtime on Monday) and the Weekly News > (with its true life stories) their output has become part of the fabric of Scotland.
