Halesia Monticola

For obvious reasons, Halesia Monticola is also known as the Mountain Snowdrop Tree. This tree can grow eventually to 30 feet high and the one in the garden of Glendoick House must have been around that height. The bell-shaped flowers are around 2.5cm (1") across and, as can be seen, are produced in profusion.
