The Glasgow Show

The Garden Show was held in one of the city's many parks - Victoria Park, named after Queen Victoria. In advance of the flower show the park's many flower beds were given a lot of extra attention and packed full of bedding plants. Behind, is the boating pond in which the powered model ships entertained the large crowds (this photo was taken a few days earlier).
