Flowers of Scotland - Spring
Lilac

Lilac

This is a pale lilac form of the shrub/tree of the Syringa family. Lilacs and springtime seem to go together - the fragrant perfume of clusters of lilac appears in late April or early May. The common lilac can grow as high as 18 feet.
