During the Scottish Tattoo, the World Championship trophy itself was brought onto the stage and was held aloft, to tumultuous applause from the audience. There is no doubt that the "buzz" created by the success on Glasgow Green, on the day before the concert, added an electricity to the evening's entertainment.
