Tam's Tall Tales

- Some Pictures

Forth Rail Bridge

Golden Light of Autumn
Scotland in autumn can be just so wonderful - if the weather holds up. Fortunately we have been blessed with a month that has been a particularly mild spell. I have always wanted to catch that warm golden light that we enjoy at this time of year and if I manage to capture it in a photo I will share it with you.

Editor's note: By coincidence I recently took a picture of a golden sunset at Hohhanfield Loch in Glasgow. Maybe it will fill in here until Tam takes one himself?

Forth Bridges
Recently I went to South Queensferry and took a few pictures which have come out all right. We were more or less under the Rail Bridge in the second picture, looking west past the understructure of the 1964 road bridge, where you can see the column for the new road bridge. The "Queensferry Crossing" is due to open in 2016.
