- Scots Fudge With Bourbon Chaser

Jack Daniels Whiskey Fudge

Scots Fudge With Bourbon Chaser
Congratulations to Gardiners of Scotland who are shipping American bourbon back to America in its fudge products. Gardiners is a long-established family run business which specialises in a wide range of traditional Scottish confectionery.

I must admit that I prefer my porridge, marmalade and fudge not to have any booze added, but plenty of people do. Gardiners have been adding various brands Scotch to its range of fudges and caramels for years and some time ago Jack Daniels called from Lynchburg Tennessee enquiring whether Gardiners would like to do a deal with them.

The bourbon flavoured fudge product proved popular in the UK and now it is being marketed in the United States, including being on sale on Amazon.com

In March Gardiners will be off to Chicago to a trade fair with the aim of drumming up more business..

Sales manager Gary Groves will be kilted up for the occasion. Gary is spoiled for choice – he has more than twenty kilts in his cupboard.

Gary says: “When you are in your kilt, you don't have to say anything – everyone knows where you are from.”
