I Name this Monster, 'Elizabeth'

New documents reveal that the Queen and Prince Philip were very interested in the hunt for The Loch Ness Monster.

The revelation comes from the release of some of the papers of Sir Peter Scott, a well-known naturalist, wild life artist and conservationist, whose researches into Nessie came to the attention of the monarch.

Scott went so far as to sound out the Palace abiout the possibility of naming the creature after the Queen - "Elizabethia nessiae"
