Arnie Survives Edinburgh Traffic
Action hero Arnold Schwarzenegger narrowly avoided being terminated by a Number 36 bus as he cycled the wrong way down one of Edinburgh's busiest streets.

Early morning shoppers were astonished to see Schwarzenegger, 68, emerge from the ritzy Caledonian Hotel (pictured here), but even more startled when he hopped on to a hire bike and then, bizarrely, turned right into oncoming traffic on Lothian Road.

The Austrian-born actor, bodybuilder and former Republican Governor of California was lucky not to be reliant on Scotland's version of Obamacare as he was not wearing a helmet.

Arnie was in Edinburgh meeting with fans who had shelled out up to £1500 to take part in a question and answer session with the veteran action man.
