Lanarkshire Tourist Guide

In the past, Lanarkshire has some towns that were involved in heavy industry. Split into North Lanarkshire and South Lanarkshire at the last local government re-organisation, the area however has lots of scenic attractions including castles, country parks and museums. And of course the upper reaches of the river Clyde and the World Heritage site at New Lanark are all very photogenic. See the slide show on YouTube at YouTube - Lanarkshire Tourist Guide .

Scottie's Photo Diary July Part 2

The locations included in my photo diary page for the second half of July include Drummond Castle gardens, Great Crested Grebes on Hogganfield Loch, Highland cattle in Baldernock, North of Glasgow and a very young Coot chick in Drumpellier Country Park, North Lanarkshire. See Scottie's Photo Diary July Part 2.
