Mecanopsis Prattii Horridula

It seems a shame that this attractive variety of Mecanopsis should be given the name "Prattii Horridula". The blooms, which appear in profusion, are smaller than some of the other Mecanopsis, measuring 7.5cm (3") across on flower spikes which grow to around 2½ feet.
