Danny Macaskill on His Mountain Bike in Skye

Now that Scottie has blooded me in this web stuff, I find myself trawling through wee snippets that might be of interest to Rampant Scotland readers. Here is one clip of a lady making scones which I thought had a certain charm, as well as making my tummy rumble: Making Scones


Recently there was a trailer for a programme about Danny Macaskill, who has taken mountain biking to a new level. Danny climbs aboard a mountain bike and returns to his native home of the Isle of Skye to take on a death-defying ride along the notorious Cuillin Ridgeline (see graphic above). I love his YouTube film and so, it appears have another 19 million people! See Danny Macaskill - Loch Scavaig, Cuillin Mountains, Isle of Skye. The video launched on 2 October and in the first 5 days, the video on YouTube had over 10 million views. By 25 October that had nearly doubled.
