Carolina Oliphant's (also known as "Lady Nairne") wrote such classics as "Charlie is My Darling" and "Wi' 100 Pipers An' A'". She was called the "Flower of Strathearn" because of her beauty and both her father and grandfather had joined Bonnie Prince Charlie in the 1745 Jacobite Uprising.
