Whisky A Gogo?

A whisky company founded by a music producer aims to raise at least £300,000 to take the drink into new markets.

Tommy Danvers who has worked with Kylie Minogue, Kanye West, Emeli Sandë and Take That, is promoting a brand of blended grain Scotch distilled in Edinburgh.

The plan is for the 808 brand to be sold in 200 UK and 200 Spanish venues this year and in clubs in Croatia, France and Germany.

"We are going after a younger generation who loves [electronic] music," Mr. Danvers said. "We have to go where the younger generation hang out."
