Ardoch Cottage, Orchil Castle, near Braco, Perthshire is a luxury self-catering cottage sleeping 6, in a modern, self-contained wing of this Victorian castle on a beautiful, 35-acre, private estate. There are beautiful views over the Ochil hills and wildlife is abundant, including ospreys which fish on the castle's loch. Nearby is the site of the Ardoch Roman fort and Crieff is not far away.
Atholl Arms Hotel is a small three-star hote in Dunkeld, Perthshire built in 1833, with many original features, some dating back to 1844. There is a private seated garden overlooking the River Tay. The Royal Hotel in Comrie, Perthshire is a 17th century coaching house Hotel in Strathearn. It's name was bestowed by Queen Victoria and the hotel was restored by its owners in 1996 with the aim of creating "a beautiful, intimate, small, luxury hotel". They have 11 bedrooms, and a self catering town house, along with a rosette awarded restaurant. Family run, the hotel has a good repuation for a warm Scottish welcome from the staff, along with a stylish decor. Guests are able to relax in the walled garden in the summer, or in front of an open log fire with a wee dram (selected from over 100 malts) in the cooler months!
